Stop The Checkpoints will picket the construction site of a 50 agent Border Patrol Station at the eastern edge of the City of Port Angeles, WA.  Recent whistleblower information verifies what we have suspected – the number of agents has risen from 4 to 40 in the last few years – and they have nothing to do but drive around and disrupt the community while drawing overtime pay for no work.  (See earlier posted articles on this website).  Three more new BP stations are planned for Oroville, WA, Colville, WA, and Bonner’s Ferry, ID a waste of over $5o million.

Military contractor “Blackhawk Ventures” has been brought in from San Antonio, TX to build the new station – Blaine Sector officials say -”it’s in the budget so we are building it!”

Everyone in the Olympic Peninsula area is invited to join us and bring whistles!  Call for full audit of the Port Angeles station and full disclosure of the results!  Stop the fraud and waste of tax money!  Cut Border Patrol funding! No need for 40 agents! No to racial profiling, defend immigrant workers and their families!
